Mailjet

Mailjet is a transactional and marketing email provider. Connect it to OpenContact to send contacts into Mailjet lists, import existing contacts, and keep suppression in sync.

What you can do

  • Send — upsert contacts into Mailjet, optionally into a specific contact list, with your own field mapping.
  • Import — pull contacts from any Mailjet list into OpenContact.
  • Suppression — receive unsubscribe, bounce, and spam events from Mailjet and propagate them to your other tools.

How to connect

  1. In Mailjet, find your API key and Secret key (Account settings → REST API).
  2. In OpenContact, go to Connections → Mailjet and paste both. OpenContact verifies and encrypts them.
  3. OpenContact loads your Mailjet contact lists so you can target them in rules.

Receiving events

Generate a webhook URL for the connection and add it to Mailjet’s event settings so unsubscribes and bounces flow back to OpenContact. Every event is signed-checked and de-duplicated.

In a sync rule

Add Mailjet as a destination, pick a target list, and map fields (e.g. first_name → firstname). See Sync rules.
