Google Sheets
Google Sheets is a natural home for lead lists. Connect it to import rows as contacts.
What you can do
- Import — read a spreadsheet’s rows and ingest each as a contact.
Google Sheets is a source. OpenContact lists your spreadsheets, and for the one you pick, reads the rows and runs them through the pipeline.
How to connect
- In OpenContact, go to Connections → Google Sheets and click Connect.
- Authorize OpenContact with your Google account (read-only access to your sheets).
- Your spreadsheets become importable.
Preparing your sheet
OpenContact maps columns by their header row. Include a header named Email (required), and optionally First Name and Last Name. Rows without an email are skipped.
| First Name | Last Name | |
|---|---|---|
| [email protected] | Ana | Ng |
| [email protected] | Bo |
Example
Keep a shared “Event signups” sheet and import it into OpenContact, verify the addresses, and fan the clean ones out to your ESP. See Importing contacts.
