Brevo+HubSpot

Brevo and HubSpot integration

OpenContact sits between Brevo and HubSpot. Capture a contact once, send it to either or both, and keep opt-outs in step.

What each tool can do

ToolConnect withCapabilities
BrevoAPI keySend, Import, Suppression events
HubSpotOAuthSend, Import, Suppression

Set it up

  1. Connect Brevo. Use API key. Setup guide.
  2. Connect HubSpot. Use OAuth. Setup guide.
  3. Import your Brevo contacts into OpenContact, so there is one record per person.
  4. Create a sync rule. Pick a trigger, add Brevo and HubSpot as destinations, and map the fields.
  5. Dry-run it. See which destinations match and which fields would be sent, then switch the rule on.

Good to know

Brevo

When you generate a webhook for the connection, OpenContact registers it with Brevo automatically and subscribes to the right events — no dashboard steps. Unsubscribes, bounces, and complaints flow back and are de-duplicated.

HubSpot

HubSpot contacts are global (not list-scoped), so a HubSpot destination upserts the contact into your account; you don't pick a list. Imports bring in the whole contact book.

Questions

Does OpenContact sync unsubscribes between Brevo and HubSpot?

Yes. When Brevo or HubSpot reports an unsubscribe, bounce or spam complaint, OpenContact records it and passes it to the destinations your rules select.

Do I need a CSV to move contacts between Brevo and HubSpot?

No. Import contacts from one tool into OpenContact, then send them to the other with a sync rule. To move a whole list, use list migration.

Does connecting Brevo and HubSpot cost extra?

Both tools bill you separately. OpenContact plans are priced by limits, and every plan includes all integrations. See pricing.
