MailerLite alternatives and how to move your list

MailerLite is a common first tool because it is simple and low cost. Teams move when they need deeper automation, a CRM, or ecommerce features.

What MailerLite’s pricing page says

  • Free plan: 250 subscribers, 2,500 emails a month, 3 active automations with 5 steps.
  • Comfort: “starting $12/month”. Emails per month are ten times the subscriber tier.
  • Power: “starting $25/month”. Unlimited emails, subject to fair use.
  • Prices scale with subscribers. Check the figure for your list on their page.

Where to move

OpenContact copies a MailerLite list, with fields, to:

Moving from MailerLite

  • Fields are read and recreated in the destination.
  • Unsubscribed, bounced and suppressed subscribers are not added to the new list.
  • Tags are not read from MailerLite.
  • Automations, forms, landing pages and campaigns are not copied.
  • Preview first. Check what will happen shows what would be copied, excluded or skipped.

Keep the opt-outs

MailerLite events are verified with a signature, and OpenContact registers the webhook for you. With suppression sync on, an unsubscribe in the new tool also reaches MailerLite while you run both.
